Photo journalism training
Cooperation Center for Afghanistan implemented photojournalism training for 20 students of Journalism Department of Balkh University and young Journalists. The photojournalism training led the participants towards taking photos to show violence, challenges and successes of women who faced violence. On March 8th CCA Mazar celebrated International Woman’s Day and held photo exhibition and the best three photographers rewarded with cameras.
Health Care for Survivors of Family Violence Capacity Building for Gynecologists at Balkh Hospital
The workshop was implemented for 50 female doctors and nurses of Balkh Public Hospital in Mazar-i-Sharif. This workshop contributed to promote the rights of vulnerable groups and the participants of the training realized that the victims of family violence are the most vulnerable group who need support from the others. In addition, they could also see that the doctors and nurses have significant roles in supporting the victims of family violence. At the end of the project the trainers and participants prepared a form to the Balkh public hospital to register the cases.
CCA Internal Capacity Building Training Cooperation Center for Afghanistan held internal capacity building training on strategic planning, proposal & report writing from 10 to 19 January 2012. The internal capacity building training was implemented to 7 key staff of CCA by a foreigner specialist. Moreover, in this internal capacity building CCA finance staff learned Quick Book (financial software) to standardize CCA financial system.
