Capacity Building for Peace Committee Members The capacity building training for peace committee members at Teacher Training College (TTC)Mazar-i-Sharif and its satellite institutes built the capacity of 172 peace committee members on non-violent conflict transformation and peace activities, and integrated peace education in the Afghan education system. This project was supported by GIZ (BEPA) from February to May 2011.
Peace in the City Non-violent Conflict transformation for Elders
Cooperation Center for Afghanistan (CCA) implemented conflict resolution training workshop for 300 Elders (Kalantar) in 10 districts of Mazar-i-Sharif from July to December 2011. Due to family and social problems people refer to the Elders to solve their conflicts. That is why CCA conducted peace in the city project to build the capacity of the elders on peace building and conflict resolution. This project was supported by GIZ/ZFD.
